With immediate effect all food premise in Malaysia must registered with Ministry of Health Malaysia. According to Food Hygiene Regulation 2009 (Regulation 3) all food premises involved in manufacturing,catering,preparation,processed,stored or served for sales and vehicles from which ready-to-eat food is sold must registered to get Certificate Of Registration For Food Premise. The certificate must be renewed every three years (Regulation 7).
